Mai iloko mai* Yearnings

If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work, and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea.

—Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Beloved man in whose voice can be heard and in whose smile can be seen pure joy and hope not despite of, but I believe because of, the initial pain we can find here.  He made his dreams come true and then was on to the next adventure with a massive party sending him off on that yearned for vast and endless sea.

Bro. IZ,

The waters of your home many times have given me great solace and healing over the years.  Thank you for sharing what you found as you floated and flowed there, too.  Your being is so stunningly beautiful. The world is a better place because of you.  Aloha nui loa.  Ke Akua pu a hui hou.
